Burgess Beach, Forster-Tuncurry NSW.
Keeping an eye on the approaching storm this particular day, I was expecting a downpour and a bit of lightning to occur for the evening. The storm was coming up from the South, although the closer it got to Forster-Tuncurry, the more it started to head out to sea and clear up to the West. Almost as if it was timing itself perfectly with the sunset, the sun came out just in time on the Western horizon and these dark, gloomy clouds began to glow a deep orange colour that lit up the sky for a brief moment. I almost missed the event entirely, but I pulled up in the car park, ran as fast as I could without slipping down the walkway and hurriedly composed this sunset photograph before the colours dissipated, which resembles perhaps the surface of Mars more than our lovely Burgess Beach.
In all the years I’ve been photographing landscapes, I’ve never seen a sunset equal to this one. One in a million.

Paper Types Used

Canvas Prints
We only use the highest grade, fade resistant HD pigment inks and premium quality 400gsm, museum grade, tight weave Hahnemühle archival canvas. Every canvas print is also coated with a non-cracking UV protective coating.
The canvas is then stretched around an eco friendly, kiln dried wooden frame and finished with professional framers tape and hanging wire.
All canvas prints are also printed at a super high resolution (2880 dpi) using EPSONS ULTRACHROME HDx technology, giving amazing clarity and ultra vivid colours!
