Wellington Point Pier, Wellington Point QLD.
Wellington Point is a suburb that lies south-east of Brisbane in Queensland and is part of the Redland City locality. It’s main feature is the quite long peninsular that protrudes out from the coast into Moreton Bay which, thankfully at some stage they decided to put a reserve at the end for everyone to enjoy. The pier was added back in 1937 and serves as an excellent place for fishing for the many visitors the place attracts.
I’d tried and failed a couple of times to get a nice photograph from this location during the time I spent living in Queensland. Either the winds were bad, the tide was too low or the sky was cloudless or too cloudy – I just couldn’t catch a break. But as they say persistence pays off, and I eventually arrived one October morning to this beautiful scattering of high cloud on the horizon and a calm, wind-free morning.
I created a panoramic from this morning also which turned out beautiful, so once I find and process it I will upload it for purchase also.

Paper Types Used
Lustre paper - This is like a blend between matt and glossy paper and is one of the highest quality papers within the printing industry. It has a beautiful look to it and the feel of a professional, high quality print.
Metallic paper - Metallic paper adds a unique flair to your photographs. A high contrast "chrome on paper" look, metallic paper adds extreme vibrancy to colours, giving your image greater details and depth.
Canvas Prints
We only use the highest grade, fade resistant HD pigment inks and premium quality 400gsm, museum grade, tight weave Hahnemühle archival canvas. Every canvas print is also coated with a non-cracking UV protective coating.
The canvas is then stretched around an eco friendly, kiln dried wooden frame and finished with professional framers tape and hanging wire.
All canvas prints are also printed at a super high resolution (2880 dpi) using EPSONS ULTRACHROME HDx technology, giving amazing clarity and ultra vivid colours!
