Upper Allyn, Barrington Tops NSW.
I had always wanted to explore the Upper Allyn region of Barrington Tops. From all the photographs I’d previously seen, it seemed like a truly magical piece of rainforest. Having had some good rain prior to this particular weekend and predicted overcast weather (best for photographing waterfalls), I was optimistic that there would be some decent water in the creeks and rivers.
The track down to this place is quite a long, downhill trek, which was great for the trip down, but I knew it was going to be a nightmare on the return trip! Once I’d reached the creek however, all of my concerns faded and I was left in awe – it opened up to the most beautiful green arena with a perfect waterfall right in front of us, sheltered by the forest canopy above and just the pure sounds of rainforest birds and trickling water – a truly “lost world” type of place where you could’ve been anywhere in space and time.
I spent countless hours here climbing up and down the creek exploring looking for ways to best document this section of the Williams River, where I eventually settled on this gorgeous section that took my breath away.

Paper Types Used
Lustre paper - This is like a blend between matt and glossy paper and is one of the highest quality papers within the printing industry. It has a beautiful look to it and the feel of a professional, high quality print.
Metallic paper - Metallic paper adds a unique flair to your photographs. A high contrast "chrome on paper" look, metallic paper adds extreme vibrancy to colours, giving your image greater details and depth.
Canvas Prints
We only use the highest grade, fade resistant HD pigment inks and premium quality 400gsm, museum grade, tight weave Hahnemühle archival canvas. Every canvas print is also coated with a non-cracking UV protective coating.
The canvas is then stretched around an eco friendly, kiln dried wooden frame and finished with professional framers tape and hanging wire.
All canvas prints are also printed at a super high resolution (2880 dpi) using EPSONS ULTRACHROME HDx technology, giving amazing clarity and ultra vivid colours!
