Photo Description

Wallis Lake, Forster-Tuncurry NSW.

Wallis Lake, with the well known iconic bridge linking the twins towns of Forster-Tuncurry in the background, produces spectacular water clarity like this for most of the year. It is because of this (well, one of the many reasons!) that the town’s population can easily triple during the school holidays, making it a highly sought after holiday destination for many trying to escape the rush of the city.

I returned to Forster recently for a commercial photography shoot I had organised and was originally going to spend a week here, but I ended up staying for close to two weeks instead, getting out on the water for some whale watching with the local whale/dolphin watching operator Amaroo Cruises, going surfing and just generally enjoying the stunning beaches and waterways this place has to offer.

On a walk around the edges of Wallis Lake I returned to a spot I’d photographed a few times in the past to get a classic sunny day photograph of the Lake. The water clarity was incredible on this particular day and being around midday with the sun high overhead, I was able to get this photograph showing exactly why this place gets so popular. Wallis Lake, does it get any better than this!?

Product Materials Used

Paper Types Used

Lustre paper - This is like a blend between matt and glossy paper and is one of the highest quality papers within the printing industry. It has a beautiful look to it and the feel of a professional, high quality print.

Metallic paper - Metallic paper adds a unique flair to your photographs. A high contrast "chrome on paper" look, metallic paper adds extreme vibrancy to colours, giving your image greater details and depth.

Canvas Prints

We only use the highest grade, fade resistant HD pigment inks and premium quality 400gsm, museum grade, tight weave Hahnemühle archival canvas. Every canvas print is also coated with a non-cracking UV protective coating.

The canvas is then stretched around an eco friendly, kiln dried wooden frame and finished with professional framers tape and hanging wire.

All canvas prints are also printed at a super high resolution (2880 dpi) using EPSONS ULTRACHROME HDx technology, giving amazing clarity and ultra vivid colours!
