Having relocated to Queensland 3 months earlier, I’d begun to travel further afield with my photography, exploring more of the picturesque, out of the way places that Queensland has to offer. A planned weekend trip had taken me north of Brisbane to the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains and surrounds.
I’d arrived early for a sunrise shoot and then ventured on to a few waterfalls I’d read about in the region. After a few shoots at various other waterfalls I had made it here to Kondalilla Falls, one of the larger and more popular waterfalls on the Sunshine Coast. It was a fairly cruisy walk to this one (albeit downhill for most of the way) and I arrived around midday to this gorgeous pool above the main waterfall, littered with visitors everywhere enjoying a hike or the cool water – I counted maybe 50 people.
It was next to impossible to photograph the falls without people in the shot, so I took over 30 photographs for this one and blended them all together in post-processing, resulting in this tranquil photograph that appears to have no human interaction at all.

Paper Types Used
Lustre paper - This is like a blend between matt and glossy paper and is one of the highest quality papers within the printing industry. It has a beautiful look to it and the feel of a professional, high quality print.
Metallic paper - Metallic paper adds a unique flair to your photographs. A high contrast "chrome on paper" look, metallic paper adds extreme vibrancy to colours, giving your image greater details and depth.
Canvas Prints
We only use the highest grade, fade resistant HD pigment inks and premium quality 400gsm, museum grade, tight weave Hahnemühle archival canvas. Every canvas print is also coated with a non-cracking UV protective coating.
The canvas is then stretched around an eco friendly, kiln dried wooden frame and finished with professional framers tape and hanging wire.
All canvas prints are also printed at a super high resolution (2880 dpi) using EPSONS ULTRACHROME HDx technology, giving amazing clarity and ultra vivid colours!
