Another early morning surf check at a favourite of mine led to this amazing photo. A wedge wave is where one wave will come in to shore, refract off an object or rock wall and then head back towards another incoming wave, often forming a triangular shape of water where the two waves have met. Lucky for me it was still fairly early and no one had decided to come down for a surf yet, so I played around trying to capture the exact moment when two waves would meet and create those fascinating shapes.
After a short time I was able to capture what I was after as pictured here, an almost-perfect symmetrical wave, with that gorgeous orange glow from the rising sun in the background.

Paper Types Used
Lustre paper - This is like a blend between matt and glossy paper and is one of the highest quality papers within the printing industry. It has a beautiful look to it and the feel of a professional, high quality print.
Metallic paper - Metallic paper adds a unique flair to your photographs. A high contrast "chrome on paper" look, metallic paper adds extreme vibrancy to colours, giving your image greater details and depth.
Canvas Prints
We only use the highest grade, fade resistant HD pigment inks and premium quality 400gsm, museum grade, tight weave Hahnemühle archival canvas. Every canvas print is also coated with a non-cracking UV protective coating.
The canvas is then stretched around an eco friendly, kiln dried wooden frame and finished with professional framers tape and hanging wire.
All canvas prints are also printed at a super high resolution (2880 dpi) using EPSONS ULTRACHROME HDx technology, giving amazing clarity and ultra vivid colours!
