Photo Description

Forster-Tuncurry Bridge, Tuncurry NSW.

The Forster-Tuncurry Bridge is quite an icon of the local area and, at 631 metres long is one of the longest pre-stressed concrete bridges in the Southern Hemisphere. It was a much needed construction project to link the two towns of Forster and Tuncurry, and to eliminate the 30 minute trip by vehicle ferry.

On another recent visit back to my hometown of Forster to see family I was out and about anticipating another beautiful sunset. I was limited with options at this stage because I had our foster dog staying with us and he couldn’t be left alone, so he tagged along with me while I found an appropriate spot to photograph, which ended up being John Wright Park in Tuncurry, NSW.

I’ve photographed the sunrise here many times before, but never a sunset as it faces the opposite direction to the sun, so I was a little concerned that I might miss all of the gorgeous sunset colours, but it worked in my favour and I was able to capture this beautiful scene.

Product Materials Used

Paper Types Used

Lustre paper - This is like a blend between matt and glossy paper and is one of the highest quality papers within the printing industry. It has a beautiful look to it and the feel of a professional, high quality print.

Metallic paper - Metallic paper adds a unique flair to your photographs. A high contrast "chrome on paper" look, metallic paper adds extreme vibrancy to colours, giving your image greater details and depth.

Canvas Prints

We only use the highest grade, fade resistant HD pigment inks and premium quality 400gsm, museum grade, tight weave Hahnemühle archival canvas. Every canvas print is also coated with a non-cracking UV protective coating.

The canvas is then stretched around an eco friendly, kiln dried wooden frame and finished with professional framers tape and hanging wire.

All canvas prints are also printed at a super high resolution (2880 dpi) using EPSONS ULTRACHROME HDx technology, giving amazing clarity and ultra vivid colours!
