Burgess Beach, Forster-Tuncurry, NSW.
I head home almost every year for the Christmas break, to catch up with friends and relax with my family. The time of year is really nice in Forster-Tuncurry right before Christmas; the towns haven’t got too busy (just yet!) and the winds of Spring can sometimes still blow in from the West, making the beaches look gorgeous.
This was the case with this particular day. The weather was perfect in every sense of the word, with deep blue skies, a small scattering of clouds and a light offshore breeze down on Burgess Beach in Forster. I spent a big of time walking around taking photos of the typical beach views. This photograph was taken from the lookout above the second part of Burgess Beach, which can occasionally be separated by the high tide. Whilst not a technically difficult photograph, it’s just that classic view of Burgess Beach that I think everyone has a photo of.
It was strange to see no one was down on the beach considering the time of year it was!

Paper Types Used
Lustre paper - This is like a blend between matt and glossy paper and is one of the highest quality papers within the printing industry. It has a beautiful look to it and the feel of a professional, high quality print.
Metallic paper - Metallic paper adds a unique flair to your photographs. A high contrast "chrome on paper" look, metallic paper adds extreme vibrancy to colours, giving your image greater details and depth.
Canvas Prints
We only use the highest grade, fade resistant HD pigment inks and premium quality 400gsm, museum grade, tight weave HahnemĂĽhle archival canvas. Every canvas print is also coated with a non-cracking UV protective coating.
The canvas is then stretched around an eco friendly, kiln dried wooden frame and finished with professional framers tape and hanging wire.
All canvas prints are also printed at a super high resolution (2880 dpi) using EPSONS ULTRACHROME HDx technology, giving amazing clarity and ultra vivid colours!
