This latest trip took us on a wild ride deep into the heart of Willi Willi National Park, West of Port Macquarie. We took two cars out there, but had to ditch one halfway out as the road got extremely muddy and not exactly favourable for a front-wheel drive car.
This was an adventure through the most tropical rainforest I’ve seen in years. If it wasn’t so cold I would’ve thought we were up in the Daintree Rainforest.
After a short walk from the car park through the rainforest (more leeches here!) we arrived at the waterfall, all fairly impressed with the view in front of us. Unfortunately there wasn’t much water over the falls this time but it was a spectacular view nonetheless.
