Going through some old photo folders this evening, I came across this session that I had documented back on August 25th 2014. There was a super heavy bank down the beach, with a slight overcast sky and crisp offshore winds blowing. It was great to see some good swell and waves pumping through as the Jeff Wilcox Memorial bodyboarding competition was set to run in 3 days time.
It must’ve looked a bit too heavy for the local surfers as the guy featured in the photographs following was the only one in the water that morning.
